As an independent studio, my business model is simple: I build tools to save you time, not to harvest your data. This Privacy Policy applies to all products developed by Elie Labs (including Notion to PPT, Notion AI Bridge, and Tab Screensaver).

1. Our “Local-First” Philosophy

We do not sell your data. We do not act as a middleman for your content.

Our extensions are architected to run locally within your browser. When you use our tools to process data or manage your browser state, the execution happens directly on your device. For integrations, communication happens strictly between your browser and the destination service APIs (such as Notion or OpenAI). Your personal content, browsing history, and workspace data never pass through Elie Labs servers.

2. What Data We Collect (and What We Don’t)

• Your Content & Browsing Data: We DO NOT store, view, or log your notes, chat logs, slide contents, or browsing history.
  • Specific to Tab Screensaver: The extension reads your active tab’s URL domain locally to apply your custom exclusion rules, and modifies the document.title locally to mask tab names. This data is never uploaded. All processing logic remains isolated inside your Chrome Extension background script.
• Usage Data: We DO NOT track individual user behavior or clickstreams. We only view anonymous, aggregated installation metrics provided by the Chrome Web Store.
• Authentication Tokens: Your OAuth tokens (e.g., Notion integration keys) are stored securely in your browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local). We have zero access to your passwords or workspaces.
• Account Identity (For Pro Licensing): For extensions offering Pro features or free trials, we request the identity and identity.email permissions to fetch your Chrome User ID. This ID is sent to our stateless secure server (elielabs-service.workers.dev) strictly for syncing your license tier and trial duration.
• Payment Information: We use Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. We do not process or store your credit card details; we only receive your email address and license key for verification. The validation result is stored locally in your browser to keep Pro features active even when you are offline.

3. Trusted Third-Party Services

To provide core functionalities, our extensions communicate directly with the following trusted providers:

• Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com): For secure checkout and license management.
• ImgBB (api.imgbb.com): Specific to Notion AI Bridge. Because the Notion API strictly mandates public URLs for embedding images, we use ImgBB to temporarily generate secure public URLs for your complex AI visual artifacts.
• Cloudflare Workers: Used as our lightweight, stateless backend solely to validate license keys and sync user tiers based on Chrome Account IDs.
